The Writing Center staff is available for College Essay appointments. Please use this document to book appointments with our staff if you are a THHS senior and interested in receiving feedback on your essay from a peer at The Writing Center.

Samples & Resources
Townsend Harris students can access this folder with sample essays from recent graduates. Our Writing Center Tutors are using these essays to guide their feedback. Though there are many published essays we use for guidance, training on past THHS essays ensures our tutors learn from essays that creatively and successfully represent stories from our community.
The Classic Podcast
Last year, students from our journalism program created a podcast to share successful college essays and discuss the writing process with the writers.
